Again, your device must also have HCE. If you are an E-Money user in Japan, you must ensure that your device is compatible with Osaifu-Keitai. The QUICPay/iD users should have Osaifu-Keitai version 6.1.5 or higher.
Ways To Use Google Pay
You can use your Google Pay application with your phone in various ways. They include the following:
i) Pay in a store
You can pay in a store with your app in a simple manner. First, you need to wake up your phone and unlock your screen. You do not have to open your GPay app to make the payments. In some nations, one does not have to unlock one’s phone when making smaller transactions.
Next, you can hold back your phone near the payment reader for a few seconds. After making the payment, you will see a blue checkmark on the screen. Also, you may be prompted to follow the instructions on the screen if the store is using older software. You may need to enter your PIN or signature. Debit cards require you to enter the PIN you set up with your bank.
When making a larger transaction with a credit card, you must sign the receipt or the signature box on the screen. Remember that you can also pay on an app or website by following a few steps.
ii) Send money to friends and family.
The platform allows one to send money to anyone in the United States by scanning a QR code on the recipient’s devices. You can also send money with their phone number, name, or email address. To send funds to friends and family with Google Pay, you should have:

The Method To Transfer Money From Google Pay To Cash App
Google Pay works with Cash App through the Cash App Cash Card. You can use your Cash Card to fund your G Pay transactions by first adding the Cash Card to your G Pay account for you to transfer finances to the platform. The following are the steps to follow when adding your card to Google Pay.
- Open your Cash App on your phone
- Tap the “Cash Card” tab on your home screen.
- Tap the “Cash Card” image.
- Choose “Add to Google Pay.”
- Follow the steps.
However, you cannot transfer money directly from your Google Pay account to Cash App. You must use indirect means whereby you must transfer money from G Pay to a linked bank account that links to Cash App in the following manner.
- Open your Google Pay app.
- Tap “New payment” on the screen.
- Tap the “Bank transfer” option.
- Provide the necessary details.
- Enter the amount and send the money.
Once the funds reach the bank account, you can transfer them to your Cash App account in the following manner.
- Open your Cash App application to login
- Hit on the “Banking/Money” tab on your home screen
- Select “Add Cash”
- Choose an amount
- Select “Add”
- Confirm the transfer using Touch ID or your PIN.
Once you complete the process, the funds will reflect in your Cash App account within the stipulated time.
